Royal Trek is close to Pokhara, which is 180 Km far from Kathmandu and 20 Km drive back from Pokhara; This trek start from Bijaypur. No matter you drive/ start from Kathmandu or Pokhara.
Royal Trek is the shortest trek that had loved by Prince Charles in 1981 before he got married to Ms.Princess Diana. This five days short Trek become “Royal trek” just after the royal family visited. The trek is a quick and sweet easy hike up and downhill with tremendous Himalayas View of Manaslu 8,156 m, Lamjung Himal 6 983 m, Dhaulagiri 8,167 m and all Annapurna ranges.
The five days short Royal Trek is less altitude, and significantly cultural experience can complete within mentioned days in the village to villages, easy hike and recommended any ages trekkers that can do without feeling the high altitude.
The stunning Himalaya views; there are best viewpoints during the trek, PATLE Danda and Syaglung. The current Royal trek was called “Syaglung trek” too before the royal family has made it.
The Royal trek ends at Pachabhaya danda (hill), which is in between the Begnas Lake and Rupa Lake. The trek ends at Pokhara after driving from Pachagaya danda.

Itinerary

Day 01: drive to Bijaypur from KTM or PKR, Trek to Kalikastan 1,370m, overnight at lodge.
Day 02: Trek to Patle danda 1,750m. 4/5 hours. Overnight lodge
Day 03: Trek to Syaglung 1,730 m.5 hour  overnight lodge
Day 04: Trek Chisapani 1,550m. 4/5 hours overnight lodge
Day 05: Trek back Begnas lake and drive back to Kathmandu or Pokhara.
